Flight operations on both runways of India’s second busiest Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai will remain closed for five hours today for proposed expansion and reconstruction work.

According to a statement issued by the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL), the main runway will remain closed between 11.30 am to 4.30 pm for setting up Rapid Exit Taxiway Lights to enhance runway efficiency.
