Work education for VI to VIII class students in Haryana

Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojana Parishad has decided to impart work education to the students studying in class VI to VIII in 2754 schools in the state. Stating this at Chandigarh, the Parishad spokesperson said that part time trainers would be appointed to impart work education to the students in these schools.He said that work education would be imparted in various disciplines like clay modeling and pottery and gardening, art related to needle and thread, vegetable cooking and serving art, toy making, painting making with the help of clothes, soap, detergent and shampoo making. The spokesman also said candle making, various types of spices making, useful articles making with the help of waste materials, packing art, envelop making. He said the art of giving information regarding tourism and historical places, art of giving first aid, the art of developing the habit of cleanliness and prevention of various childhood diseases, the art of keeping the environment clean and pollution free.
