Won’t resign unless given in writing by Mamata, says Trivedi

Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi says, he will not resign unless given in writing by Mamata Banerjee. He said he has a Constitutional duty to pilot the Railway Budget he had presented in Parliament. He said, there will be a discussion on Monday and he has to answer the discussion on railway budget.

Trivedi was talking to reporters after the party's chief whip Kalyan Banerjee had a telephonic talk with him. Kalyan Banerjee told AIR Kokata Correspondent that as a parliamentary colleague he advised Trivedi to resign to ensure a honorable exit.

The party leader Sudip Bandyopadhay said there will be nothing in writing to Dinesh Trivedi.
