Won’t allow Centre to burden common man: Mamata

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has categorically said that she would continue to raise her voices against any move to hike the prices of petroleum products by the Centre.

Addressing a function at Bolpur in Birbhum district in West Bengal, she said her party would not allow the Centre to put any more burden on the common people. Referring to her Government's efforts to reduce the sufferings of farming community, Banerjee said the Government would open Kishan Bazars in all 341 blocks of the state to help farmers to get fair price for their produce and to free them from the cluches of middleman.

Banerjee inaugurated Gitanjali Rail Museum and several other rail projects at the function in the presence of Railway Minister Mukul Roy.
