In the women's National Boxing Championship in Vijayanagara Tamil Nadu, S. Kalaivani and Nikhat Zareen of Telangana yesterday entered the finals in their respective weight categories.

In semifinals, Nikhat Zareen defeated Vanlai Dauti while Kalavani beat Haryana's Sanju in light fly class.

Earlier, Haryana's Pinki Jangra had defeated Meenakshi and set a clash with Nikhat Zareen in the final.

Railways' Sonia Lather also entered the final beating Sandhyarani Devi of All India Police while Shashi Chopra of Haryana downed Manipur's K H Shamim Banu to clash in the 57kg class final today.
