India, placed in Pool-B, made it to last-8 after registering a single win, two losses and a draw. In the other quarterfinals today US beat Japan One-Nil and Argentina defeated Ireland 2-1. Germany will face South Africa later this evening. This is also a Women's World Cup qualifying event.
