In Women's Cricket World Cup, India set a target of 227 runs against Australia in their sixth round-robin match at Bristol in England. Chasing the target, Australia were 212 for 2 in 42.1 overs, a short while ago. Earlier, Australia won the toss and sent India to bat first. After losing opener Smriti Mandhana in the fourth over, opener Punam Raut's fighting century and a record-breaking 69 from skipper Mithali Raj enabled India post a decent 226 for seven in stipulated 50 overs. Punam Raut played a brilliant 106-run inning and compiled her second ODI hundred. Skipper Mithali Raj contributed 69. In other round-robin match, South Africa defeated Sri Lanka by 8 wickets with 161 balls remaining. Match between England and New Zealand is underway.
