Rajya Sabha member and BJP OBC Morcha President, Dr K Lakshman has said the people are coming to know about a number of welfare programmes through the "Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra" (VSBY) programme. Speaking to Akashvani, he said women are being empowered with the welfare programmes through the visionary VBSY programme. Stating that VBSY is going to touch upon over 2.5 lakh gram panchayats across the country, Dr Lakshman said more and more women are taking the benefit of various welfare programmes through the VBSY.<br />
