Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani interacts with awardees of Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar-2023

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani today interacted with the awardees of Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar-2023 and their parents at Pradhanmantri Sangrahalay in New Delhi. During the interaction, Smriti Irani urged the students to continue their work with full dedication to make the country proud.<br />''<br />''The Minister said today is a great day because the children who have been awarded with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar could see India's history and its achievement at Pradhanmantri Sangrahalay. During the interaction the Minister also assured all possible help to the students in pursuing their future goals. Yesterday President Droupadi Murmu conferred the awards on them at Vigyan Bhawan, instituted by the Ministry of Women and Child Development.<br />''<br />''The awards have been conferred on 11 children for their exceptional achievement in six categories, which include Art, Culture, Bravery, Innovation, Social Service, and Sports. Each awardee has received a medal, a cash prize of one lakh rupees, and a certificate from the President. The awardees of this year include one each in the category of Bravery and Social Service, two in the category of Innovation, three in Sports, and four in Art & Culture. Out of the 11 awardees, 5 are Girls and 6 are boys. Among the awardees was Aadithya Suresh who even after being diagnosed with a bone disorder since birth transformed himself into a singer.<br />''<br />''He has performed more than 500 singing events including on different TV channels and received the award in the category of Arts and Culture. The others awarded in the Arts and Culture category were M. Gauravi Reddy for being the young classical dancer to be nominated in the International Dance Council of the UNICEF, Shreya Bhattcharjee who has the record of playing tabla for the longest duration and Sambhav Mishra who is an accomplished writer.  In the bravery category, Rohan Ramchandra Bahir was awarded for saving a woman's life by jumping into a river. Another awardee in the innovation category was Rishi Shiv Prasanna who with a certified IQ level of 180 is the youngest certified android application developer.<br />''<br />''Master Aditya Pratap Singh Chauhan was also awarded for innovation. He has developed a unique technology named Micropa to detect and filter micro plastics from water. Kumari Hanaya Nisar,  Master Shauryajit Ranjitkumar Khaire and Kumari Kolagatla Alana Meenakshi were awarded with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraska, in the field of sports category, while Anoushka Jolly has the award received in the Social Service category. MoS for  Women and Child Development Dr. Munjapara Mahendrabhai and Secretary Indevar Pandey were also present during the interaction. </span><br />
