Expressing concern over increasing cases of women trafficking, the President of National Commission for Women, Mamta Sharma said that it should be stopped. Talking to reporters in Bhopal on Sunday, Ms. Sharma said that a number of cases of women trafficking have come to the fore in Jharkhand and tribal belts of Madhya Pradesh. She said that the Commission is in touch with the police of the states in this connection. Mrs. Sharma said that atrocities against women can not be stopped without changing the mentality of the people. She said that the politicians, police and media will have to play an important role in this direction.
