In Odisha, a woman Maoist was killed in an exchange of fire between the police and the Ultras today in Bejipali area on the foothills of Gandhamardan forests in Bolangir district. According to police, the encounter ensued after the police spotted several Maoists in Bajipali forests under Khaparakhol police station during a combing operation. The Superintendent of Police, Bolangir said, the Police have got the body of a woman Maoist and further details are still awaited. Our correspondent reports, combing operations are on in the area to nab the Maoists.
