In Odisha, a hardcore woman Maoist was arrested during a joint combing operation by the Police in Nakatideula forest area of Sambalpur district. Police sources said, the Maoist identified as Rebati Nayak in Riamal police station area was involved in naxalite activities since 2003 and altogether 18 non-bailable warrants are pending against her in different police stations in Sambalpur and Deogarh districts. Police also said, Rebati is the wife of hardcore Maoist leader Bimba Bhoi of Tampersingha village in Sambalpur district and also active in Maoists activities in neighbouring Jharkhand.
