Withdrawl of forces from J&K escalated violence

The BJP has said that the withdrawal of forces from the Kashmir valley was a wrong decision. Briefing newspersons following the BJP Parliamentary committee meeting in New Delhi today, the senior leader Mr. Gopinath Munde said that the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir had demanded additional forces. But the centre decided against it. He said this resulted in the escalation of violence in the state. Mr. Munde said that the BJP has decided to raise the issue of present situation in the Kashmir valley and corruption in Commonwealth Games for discussion in the House. He also demanded action against the Union Sports ministry and the organizing committee of Commonwealth Games for alleged charges of corruption
