National People's Party (NPP) chief and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has said that withdrawal of support by four NPP MLAs from the Manipur Government was triggered by the resignation of three BJP MLAs from the state government there. <br />''<br />''The Chief Minister said that he is in discussion with the NPP MLAs and will see how the situation unfolds.<br />''<br />''Mr Sangma said that there have been concerns regarding the leadership of the Chief Minister in Manipur such as taking away portfolios from some Ministers and the issues were raised with the central leadership of BJP. <br />''<br />''He said, however, they continued to work together, but when the three MLAs from the BJP itself resigned that triggered the entire sequence of events that took place. Citing that there is no concern when it comes to Meghalaya after the NPP withdrew its support in Manipur, he said, the development will not have any impact on the state.
