In West Bengal today is the last day for withdrawal of candidature for first phase Assembly Election in the State. Altogether 418 nominations were filed for this phase of polls which will take place in 54 seats covering six North Bengal Districts on 18th of this month. Meanwhile, filing of nominations are on for second and third phase of elections. Second phase of voting will be taken up in 54 seats in Murshidabad, Nadia and Birbhum districts on 23rd of this month while third phase will be held on 27th of April in 75 seats in Kolkatta, North and South 24 Paragana districts.
