In Rajasthan, medical services in government hospitals are likely to improve from today as the State Government has recruited 750 new doctors to take care of patients.
Meanwhile, around 425 doctors have been arrested while another 57 were suspended under the Rajasthan Essential Services Maintenance Act (RESMA).
The government doctors’ strike in the state has entered seventh day today.
Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has called upon the striking doctors to end their stir in the larger interest of patients. Meanwhile, the striking doctors have demanded that the State Government withdrew actions taken against them and initiate talks as they were ready to return to work.
