In Gujarat, the total number of positive cases for COVID-19 has gone up to 13 with six fresh positive cases reported today in the state. <br />'' <br />'' Addressing a press conference in Ahmedabad, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said, of the six new cases, two are from Ahmedabad and one each from Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Rajkot and Surat. <br />''<br />''Mr Rupani said, out of the 13, 12 infected patients have foreign visit history while only one case which was found in Surat today is a case of local transmission of COVID-19.<br />'' <br />'' The Chief Minister announced to set up Isolation Wards in hospitals of four cities namely Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot and Surat, if the spread continues.<br />'' <br />''  He also said, the 1,200-bed new civil hospital in Ahmedabad will be kept for isolation of COVID-19 patients. He said, four Secretaries have been assigned the responsibility of one district each to coordinate the overall efforts of the State Government to combat COVID-19.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, Indian Council of Medical Research sanctioned laboratory facilities for Surat and Bhavnagar in view of increasing positive cases in the state.<br />''
