With 472 fresh confirmed cases of COVID-19, total tally in country surges to 3,374

<span style="color: #222222;">As many as 472 fresh confirmed cases of COVID- 19 have been reported in the country since yesterday. The total tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases is 3,374 till now. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">267 patients have been discharged from hospitals after recovering from the virus while 79 patients have lost their lives. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing media in New Delhi today, Joint Secretary in the Health Ministry, Lav Aggarwal said the doubling rate of Corona cases in India is 4.1 days. He said, if Tablighi Jamaat incident had not happened it would have taken 7.4 days. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He  informed that 274 districts across the country are  affected due to Coronavirus so far. He said, the Cabinet Secretary today reviewed the situation of Corona viruse with District Magistrates, Superintendent of Police and State Health secretary through video conferencing. Mr. Aggarwal added that they have been instructed that pharma units making devices and medicines must run seamlessly. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on the occasion, Joint Secretary in  the Home Ministry, Punya Salila Srivastava said the situation of essential goods and services is satisfactory in the country. She said around 28 thousand relief camps and shelters have been set up across the country. She added that over 75 Lakh people are being provided food in close to 20 thousand food camps.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Head Scientist in Indian Council of Medical Research, Raman  Gangakhedkar clarified that  there is no evidence of airborne transmission of COVID19-yet.</span><br />
