In Nagaland, 16 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported today along with 92 recoveries. While one from Dimapur has been registered dead due to the infection.<br />'' <br />'' Informing in a tweet this evening, Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom said, 12 are confirmed from Kohima, two in Tuensang, one each in Wokha and Longleng. He said, out of the 92 recoveries, 72 patients are from Kohima, 18 from Dimapur and two from Peren.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, the recovery rate of COVID-19 in the State has increased to 59 per cent today from 36 per cent last week. With this, the State has a total of 1,453 active cases, while 2,166 people have recovered. So far, eight people have lost their lives due to COVID-19 infection.<br />'' <br />'' Till date, out of the 3,635 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, the distribution across various categories of people are 1,579 infections among Armed Forces, 1,204 cases are returnees from different states, 612 are traced contacts and 240 are Frontline Workers.<br />'' &nbsp;
