The winter session of the Assam Assembly will commence from 7th of the next month at Dispur. During the five- day long session which will conclude on December 11, three bills seeking amendment to existing laws and a new bill relating to the proposed Science and Technology University in the state will be introduced.<br/><br/> Besides, the government is likely to approve a supplementary grant to meet increased expenditure due to hike in salaries of employees and to implement new developmental schemes.<br/>
