The winter session of parliament begins on Thursday. The month long session is likely to be stormy. Government intends to introduce as many as 62 new bills during the session, including the bill providing for raising reservation of women in panchayats from 33 per cent at present to 50 per cent. Briefing media, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal said that the government would like this legislation to be passed by both the Houses unanimously.
