In Madhya Pradesh, the winter session of the state legislative assembly has begun in Bhopal on Monday. AIR Bhopal correspondent reports that in its first sitting, the House paid tributes to the leader of opposition Mrs. Jamuna Devi and its eight former members who had passed away after the last session.Paying glowing tributes to Mrs. Jamuna Devi, the speaker Ishwar Das Rohani, deputy speaker Harbans Singh, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, deputy leader of Congress Chaudhry Rakesh Singh and other members said that the political void created after her demise could not be fulfilled in future.The House observed two minutes silence in memory of departed leaders. After that, Speaker Ishawar Das Rohani adjourned the House till Tuesday.The 11day session of the state assembly will have in all nine sittings. The state government would table its second supplementary budget for the current financial year. It would also introduce half a dozen bills.
