In Madhya Pradesh, the winter session of the state legislative assembly began on Monday. AIR correspondent reports that the twelve day session will have in all ten sittings. On the first day of session, the notification about the nomination of Anglo Indian member Ms. L B Lobo in the state assembly was tabled in the house. The newly elected members Ranvir Jatav from Gohad and Bhaiyaram Patel from Tendukheda took oath. The proceedings of the house were adjourned till Tuesday after paying tributes to the Member of Parliament Pyarelal Khandelwal, former union ministers Sher Shingh and Rao Virendra Singh, its seven ex members and the noted journalist Prabhash Joshi who passed away after the last session. Opposition Congress has already announced to raise issues like failure of health department to prevent Malaria and Dengue, the alleged mounting corruption in the NREGA and shortage of fertilizers and seeds in the state. According to sources in view of elections of 268 local bodies in the state, proceedings of the house will end on 24 November. <br/><br/>
