The winter session of Madhya Pradesh legislative assembly begins today. AIR correspondent reports that there will be 10 sittings during the session.<br/>The session will start with the oath taking of Gohad MLA Ranvir Jatav and Gotegaon MLA Bhaiyyaram Patel, who won the by-elections held in September. The state government is likely to table its supplementary budget for the year 2009-10 and about half a dozen bills during the session. The session, being held under the shadow of local bodies’ elections due next month in the state, is expected to be stormy. The opposition Congress has already announced to raise issues like failure of health department to prevent menace of Malaria and Dengue, alleged mounting corruption in NREGA, erratic power supply, shortage of seeds and fertilizers and deteriorating law and order situation. <br/><br/>
