Price rise, telecom scam, the alleged involvement of former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Madhu Koda in corruption case, Maoist violence and several other issues including those relating to foreign policies are likely to be raised by the opposition in the parliament session beginning Thursday.<br/>The opposition BJP has decided to bring an Adjournment Motion in the Lok Sabha on sugarcane growers on the first day itself. Government intends to introduce as many as 62 new bills during the session, including the bill providing for raising reservation of women in panchayats from 33 per cent at present to 50 per cent. <br/>Briefing media, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal said that the government would like this legislation to be passed by both the Houses unanimously. He said that the goverment is ready to hold discussions on the issue of price rise and other issues. <br/>In reply to a question on cane growers' on which the BJP intends to bring in an adjourmnt motion, Mr. Bansal said that the government is keen to arrive at a consensus on sugar and sugarcane issue and sought the cooperation from the opposition. He said that apart from the new bills, the government would like to clear the bills pending before the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. <br/>Thirteen bills are pending before Rajya Sabha including the bill on womens reservation in Lok Sabha and state assemblies. The bill which was introduced in Rajya Sabba by the UPA government is now before a standing committee. Responding to a question on whether government will table the Liberhans Commission Report, Mr. Bansal said he was not certain about it. <br/>
