In Nigeria, a state governor has been sworn-in after a record delay of nearly four years, just month before election. Kayode Fayemi of the opposition Action Congress of Nigeria has finally declared to have won the governorship of South Western State of Ekiti on Friday following a long legal dispute.The court had ruled that Fayemi won both the April 14, 2007 election and the re-run election of April 25, 2009 with highest lawful vote cast at the polls.
