<span style="color: #222222;">The Government today said winding-up proceedings of 78 multi-State cooperatives societies are presently underway. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Home Minister Amit Shah said action for winding-up is taken under Multi-State Cooperative Societies (MSCS) Act, 2002  against delinquent societies which do not function as per the provisions of MSCS Act 2002 and against whom complaints are received.</span><br />
