Windies set victory target of 276 runs for India on 3rd day of first test

On the third day of the first cricket test at Feroze Shah Kotla stadium in New Delhi, the West Indies have set a victory target of 276 runs for India. With 6 wickets, debutant spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was the leading wicket taker for the hosts in this innings. Debutant pacer Umesh Yadav bagged 2 wickets, while Ishant Sharma and Pragyan Ojha took a wicket each.After resuming their second innings on the overnight score of 21 for 2, the visitors lost 5 wickets in the opening session today for just 88 runs. Pacer Ishant Sharma started the day's wicket deluge for India, sending night watchman Fidel Edwards back to the pavilion in the third over of the day. Indian bowlers, led by Ashwin, picked from there on, bundling up the West Indian innings for 180 in the post-lunch session.Earlier, Team India had made 209 in the first innings, in reply to West Indies' 304.
