Tamil Nadu has taken giant strides in eco friendly  wind energy generation, with daily generation touching a high of 4000 mega watt per day.  P Thankamani, Tamil Nadu minister for Electricity has said that  the supply of electricity to farmers has been increased.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Talking to press persons in Pallipalayam, Namakkal near Trichy, Shri Thankamani clarified that the water bodies rejuvenation scheme, being implemented at a cost of Rs 400 crores, is expected to be completed by December.
