Six times champion Serena Williams clinched the 22nd Grand Slam singles title of her career on Saturday, after defeating Germany's Angelique Kerber 7-5, 6-3 in the Wimbledon women's singles final in London. In the process, the 34-year-old American equalled the Open Era record of Steffi Graf for the highest number of singles majors. Serena had reached her ninth Wimbledon singles final by beating unseeded Russian, Elena Vesnina.Serena and her sister Venus Williams will also compete in the women's doubles final later tonight when they take on the pair of Hungary's Timea Babos and Kazakhstan's Yaroslava Shvedova.Men's doubles final will also be played later tonight. It will be Wimbledon's first all-French doubles final as top seeds Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut will take on unseeded Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin.Wimbledon's men's singles final will be played tomorrow in which Britain's Andy Murray will face sixth seed Milos Raonic of Canada.
