Wimbledon: Sania-Elena to lock horns with Kveta-Katarina in semi-finals

In Wimbledon Tennis, the Indo-Russian pair of Sania Mirza and Elena Vesnina will today lock horns with the Czech-Slovakian combine of Kveta Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik in the semi-finals of the Ladies Doubles event in London. In the other semi-final, the German-Aussie duo of Sabine Lisicki and Samantha Stosur will meet the Kiwi-Thai pair of Marina Erakovic and Tamarine Tanasugarn. In Mixed doubles, the Indian duo of Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza, the Indo-Zimbabwean combine of Leander Paes and Cara Black and the Indo-Russian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Elena Vesnina will play their respective Quarter-final matches today. Meanwhile, World Number 1 Spaniard Rafael Nadal will meet Andy Murray of Great Britain while Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will face Novak Djokovic of Serbia in the semi-final of the Gentlemen's Singles event. Yesterday, Russia's Maria Sharapova and Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic stormed their way into the finals of the Ladies Singles competition.
