The Indian duo of Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza has entered the mix doubles quarter finals of Wimbledon Tennis Championship. They defeated Martin Damm and Renata Voracova 6-3, 6-0, in the third round. Mahesh Bhupathi partnering Elena Vesnina of Russia have also advanced to the quarter-finals quelling a late challenge from Eric Butorac and Olga Govortsova. The fourth-seeded Indo-Russian combination dismissed the challenge of American-Belarussian pair 6-2, 7-6. Another Indian ace player Leander Paes paring with Cara Black will clash with the pair of Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia and Katarina Srebotnik of Slovakia in the third round later today. The Women's singles semi finals are also slated for today . In the first semi final Victoria Azarenkaof Belarus is facing Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic. In men's singles, top seeds, Spain's World Number 1 Rafael Nadal, Serb Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray of Great Britain have advanced to the semi-finals of the event. In the Men's semi-finals, Andy Murray will lock horns with the defending champion Rafael Nadal while Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will face Novak Djokovic. Yesterday, World Number 2 Swiss Roger Federer made a shock exit losing to Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
