At Wimbledon on Saturday, the fifth seeded Indian duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza, suffered a crushing 3-6 1-6 defeat to Australian-Russian pair of P Hanley and A Kudryavtseva in a 50-minute mixed-doubles match. The French Open champion pair bowed out in the second round. However, Ledander Paes — who confirmed his participation in the Olympics just on Friday — and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek entered the third round of the Men's Doubles. The fourth seeded Indo-Czech duo notched up a 6-2 6-4 7-6 victory over Isreali combination of Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram. In a Mixed Double fixture, India's Rohan Bopanna and his Chinese partner Jie Zheng got a walkover and moved into the pre-quarter-finals after getting a walkover in the second round.
