Leander Paes and his Canadian partner Adil Shamasdin bowed out of Men's Doubles event in the first round of the Wimbledon Tennis championships in London today. The unseeded Indo-Canadian combo lost to Austrian team of Julian Knowle and Philipp Oswald in five-sets 6-4, 6-4, 2-6, 6-7, 8-10 in a match that was just one minute short of four hours.In another men's doubles match later today, the Indo-French duo of Rohan Bopanna and Edouard Roger-Vasselin will face German pair of Dustin Brown and Mischa Zverev in the first round. In Women's Doubles, Sania Mirza and her Belgian team-mate Kirsten Flipkens progressed to the second round yesterday. Indian team of Purav Raja and Divij Sharan also made it to the second round.
