Wimbledon: Japan's Kei Nishikori bows out of Men's Singles

In the Wimbledon Tennis championships at London today, 9th seed Kei Nishikori has been ousted. In the men's singles third round match today the Japanese was beaten by 18th seed R. Bautista Agut 4-6, 6-7, 6-3, 3-6. Besides Agut 16th seed G. Mueller has also reached the pre-quarter final. Rafael Nadal, Maran Cilic and Andy Murray will play their third round matches later today. In women's singles, 21st seed C. Garcia of France has entered the fourth round today. Venus Williams and Simona Halep will take on their rivals in third round later today.The Indo-French duo of Rohan Bopanna and Edouard Roger-Vasselin have entered the second round of Men's Doubles. In the first round in London yesterday, the pair defeated the German team of Dustin Brown and Mischa Zverev in straight sets 6-3, 7-6, 6-4. Today, the pair of Bopanna and Vasselin will take on British brothers Ken Skupski and Neal Skupski in their second round match.However, Leander Paes and his Canadian partner Adil Shamasdin bowed out of Men's Doubles event. The unseeded Indo-Canadian combo lost to Austrian team of Julian Knowle and Philipp Oswald. Today Paes and his Chinese partner Xu Yifan will clash with French-Romanian pair of Fabrice Martin and Raluca Olaru in mixed doubles second round match. In Women's Doubles, Sania Mirza and her Belgian team-mate Kirsten Flipkens will play their third round match tomorrow. Another Indian pair of Purav Raja and Divij Sharan are also in the second round of men's doubles.
