Williams sisters sets up Women's Singles title clash at Australian Open

In Tennis, Williams sisters – Serena and Venus – have set up the Women's Singles title clash at the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the season, at Melbourne. It will be their ninth meeting in a Grand Slam final. In the semi-finals this morning, 36-year old Venus, who is seeded 13th, became the tournament's oldest Women's finalist, after she came back from a set behind to beat fellow American CoCo Vandeweghe, 6-7, 6-2, 6-3. In the other semi-final, world number two Serena got the better of Croatia's Mirjana Lucic-Baroni, 6-2, 6-1.Venus is chasing her first Australian Open crown, and it will be her first final of the tournament after 14 years. She has won 7 Grand Slam trophies.Serena, on the other hand, is attempting to win an Open-era record 23rd Grand Slam singles title.
