Will witness LNG exports from US to India soon: Senate India Caucus co-founder

US Senator John Cornyn and Indian Consul General in Houston Harish Parvathaneni met in Houston todiscuss a host of bilateral issues, along with possibilities of mutual cooperation between the two countries in the field of energy. The two delegates held talks on issues related to economy, energy, trade and immigration between the two countries. The co-chairman and an co-founder of the Senate India Caucus, John Cornyn said that today's global environment provides many opportunities for our nations to partner. He said, it is encouraging to see what the Indian-Americans in Texas are doing to foster strong community.Parvathaneni, in his statement, said with enhanced prospects for cooperation in the field of energy and in view of the US shale gas revolution, we will witness in the next few years LNG exports from US to India. He said, this will have a huge significance for Indian households and the industry.
