The DMK President M.Karunanidhi has said that his party would support the Government in case voting is accepted in Parliament on the FDI issue. In a statement issued to the Press today, the DMK Patriarch said that keeping in mind the need of the hour which means a stable Government and to sustain economic growth and also to keep away the communal forces, the decision to support the Government has been taken. He also referred to the assurances given by the Government on the FDI issue that it would not harm the small traders.
