'Will support anyone who backs special status for Bihar`:Nitish

Bihar Chief Minister and JDU leader Nitish Kumar today said that, whoever supports special status for Bihar he will support them at center. Nitish Kumar began his Adhikar Yatra today from Betia in West Champaran district, aimed at mass support for a proposed rally in Patna to demand special category status for the state. Nitish Party the Janta Dal (United) has 20 Lok Sabha members out of 40 seats and it is a part of the NDA.

The party is also in an alliance with the BJP in Bihar. In his 1st public meeting at Betiah Nitish Kumar reiterated his demand saying that it is high time the central government gave the special category status.

This is the first mass rally of the ruling Janta Dal-United since it came to power in 2005.
