BJP said it will react to government formation in Delhi only after Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung takes a final call on the issue. Party spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain told media in New Delhi yesterday that the people of the national capital want this political deadlock to end. He said his party also wants this issue to be resolved at the earliest.
His comment came amid speculation that the Lieutenant Governor has made up his mind to invite the single largest party to form the government in the city. BJP is the single largest party in 70 member assembly.
Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have been demanding fresh elections in the city. BJP also echoed same view saying it is ready for polls .
Meanwhile, Aam Admi Party has alleged that MLAs being bought and close door deals are being struck for government formation in Delhi.
