In Arunachal Pradesh, the Chakma -Hojung refugee issue is simmering after reports said that Union Government has decided to grant citizenship to all Chakma and Hajong refugee residing in north east particularly in Arunachal Pradesh.'<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju has said that he will not allow any illegal migrants or refugees to take the rights of people of Arunachal Pradesh. Mr. Rijiju was talking to media persons at Naharlagun after taking part in a plantation programme in capital complex area Naharlagun today.<br/><br/>Clarifying his stand Mr. Rijiju blamed congress for the current crisis in the state and said he will not allow any dilution in the rights of indigenous people in the state. The Union State Home Minister said that refugees are those who were allowed and brought by government of India.<br/><br/>Earlier the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee has criticized the centre's stand on Chakma-Hajong refugees. The State Congress President Takam Sanjoy has demanded the revival of high power committee on refugees constituted during UPA-II regime.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, The All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) has called for a 12 hour dawn to dusk state wide bandh on 19th September (Tuesday). AAPSU, an apex body of students in the state opposing citizenship for Chakma and Hajong refugees. <br/><br/>Chakmas and Hajongs who were displaced from Bangladesh were given settlement in 1964 on humanitarian ground in different parts of north east including Arunachal Pradesh. <br/>' <br/>
