The World's greatest ever footballer Edson Arantes de Nacimento, also known as Black-Pearl or Pele to football fans, has said that he will never vie for the post of FIFA President. Addressing a media conference in Kolkata on Monday, Pele said that he has been overwhelmed by the love, respect and enthusiasm of the die-heart football fans of the city of joy. Talking about the current crop of great international players, Pele said that there cannot be any comparison between the current lot of great footballers and the footballers of his age. He said all of them are greats and have contributed immensely to world football. In reply to a question, the King of football Pele, said that Lionel Messi is a great player and Ronaldo and Neymar are also exceptionally good. Pele said he was thankful to the people of Kolkata for showering exceptional love on him. Earlier, Pele was gifted with a jersey of athletico the Kolkata by its franchisee, former Indian cricket captain Saurabh Ganguly. In his speech, Ganguly said that the huge amount of enthusiasm and fanfare shown to Pele proves his popularity even after 38 years of his first visit to Kolkata.
