Luxembourg's Finance Minister Luc Frieden has said he wants to strengthen cooperation with foreign tax authorities following allegations that the tiny state operates as a massive tax haven. A report from Berlin says Luxembourg is a tiny country with a huge financial sector. It has a population of only five lakh, yet it has one hundred and forty one banks. There have been allegations that rich people deposit money in Luxembourg being a tax haven and thus depriving other governments of badly needed revenue.
