Union Minister of Civil Aviation Ajit Singh has said the Director General of Civil Aviation would be appointed soon.

Speaking to reporters in Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu today, he said the Government had resolved the Air India pilots strike issue amicably. Earlier, Mr. Singh took the salute in the passing out parade of CISF Assistant sub-inspectors.

He said CISF was doing a commendable job in safeguarding government offices, airports, space centres and Naxal- infected states like Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
