In the Asian Ranking Women's Tennis Championships being held in Pune, local wild card Bela Tamhankar outplayed Arthi Muniyan today in straight sets to enter the quarterfinals. 

Bela, a junior, won 6-4, 6-3. She had also shocked second-seeded Srinidhi Sridhar 6-1, 6-3 yesterday.
Top-seeded Sai Samhitha Chamarthi, Riya Uboveja, Nidhi Chilumula, Vanshita Pathaniya, Soha Sadiq, Prathiba Narayan Prasad and Vaidehi Chaudhari were the other players to make it to the last eight stage.
