The founder of the website Wikileaks has rejected US claims that he indulged in secret killings after releasing ninety thousand leaked classified documents on the Afghan war. A BBC report quoted Julian Assange as saying that there was no evidence that any informers were killed as a result of the leaks. He has rather accused the Pentagon of trying to distract attention from the thousands lives being lost. The White House has appealed to Wikileaks not to publish another set of documents, which it thought he was holding.
