American diplomatic cables released by the Wikileaks website have described Mozambique as the second most active drugs transit point in Africa after Guinea Bissau. The leaked documents say the biggest drugs trafficker in Mozambique has direct ties to some of the countries top politicians. They alleged that he had contributed heavily to the governing party.
