Put in to bat, the West Indies posted their highest-ever limited overs total in a 50-over match by making 363 for four, surpassing the previous mark of 360 set against Sri Lanka in 1987. Kirk Edwards remained unbeaten on 123, while Dwayne Bravo made 106. Chasing the target of 364, the Black Caps were all out 160 in 29.5 overs.
