The government today assured that while disinvesting the national carrier Air India, the interests of its employees will be safeguarded. Replying to the discussion on Aircraft (Amendment) Bill, 2020 in Lok Sabha, Minister of Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri said that whichever company will buy AIR INDIA will need its employees, pilots and other staff. Mr Puri said that there is a need to take the judicious look over the future of AIR INDIA which is already suffering huge losses. He said, the national carrier is currently suffering a loss of 26 crores per day and now due to the threat of Corona flights on many routes are suspended and the losses will be higher in the coming days.<br />
