In Madhya Pradesh, wheat procurement on minimum support price has begun in several districts from today. The wheat will be procured in Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions from today till 14th May. In Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Jabalpur, Rewa and Shahdol divisions, procurement will be made from 25th of this month till 26th May. Over 19 lakh 34 thousand farmers have registered themselves to sell wheat on support price. This year, 3000 procurement centres have been set up in the state.
